Love is a two way street. Congratulations to you on your hard work! I just finished reading Matthew Perry’s book about his life and the curse of addiction. I’m 78 and I honestly had no idea how terribly all encompassing that addiction was! I cried while reading it and had to stop several times. It really broke my heart for him and all people who felt that lost. I have clinical depression and am on medication and have been for 40 years. I also have suffered from anxiety attacks in the past. Yet, as bad as those things were for me, reading what Matthew went through was extremely painful to bear. I met my wife in 2004 she was single with no kids. I came with 3 sons that I raised and living with me. Her father was hesitant, her mother said give him a chance, if he’s raising his sons, he has to be a good man. My mother didn’t like her because she was becoming the new woman in my life. We married in 2007 and are still married 13 years later. My sons all call her Mom. My father in law couldn’t imagine life without hanging out and smoking cigars with his grown adult step grandsons. We added our daughter and son to our family and we’ve never looked back. My mother sadly is not around to enjoy the family that we have created by her own choice. But here we are 13 years later and still going strong besides the doubts others had! I love my wife!! Edit: I forgot to mention that one of my older sons gave me twin Grandsons, almost 2 years go. So they have Step Great Grandsons and they love them to death.
