My God I love love LOVE your work I'm glad I finally got a chance to catch up! I feel like I'm peering in on the real engines, the ones I know, when I watch anything you've written. They're behaviors and mannerisms; Thomas's irritableness but also sense of fairness and decency, Edward's patience and genuine concern for others, Percy's spriteliness and emotional intelligence... I LOVE positive Percy, I'm so so glad to see you went that route! But they have a lot to consider and question too, you just NAILED Percy's mysterious origins. It's so refreshing that you hit all the right beats to make it honor the original stories, but REALLY shake things up with HOW those beats occur. Like, Percy arriving on a shady ship sets the tone PERFECTLY. The experimental magic railroad stuff, the "birth" of an engine, wooooow. Like, I was enthralled! Percy's some kind of guardian angel... Their design perplexes everyone and including themself, it just builds SUCH Intrigue. And Edward so overtly saying "TFC considers emotion". Like, I feel like it's usually veiled as "He'll help all really useful engines" or "he'll give everyone a chance". There IS something really rejuvenating about just spelling out why we like him; he cares about people's feelings and well being. It's so sweet. And Edward's faith in him is illustrated by the fact that he's the one who says it. This comment is just a BLOCK of text but I'm just spouting everything I love as I think of it. Also that crash was NUTS, I was audibly like HOLY SHIT. And Percy getting out unscathed.... MMmmm you're so good at bottling the energy of these characters and the fandom's general understanding and tropes about them and getting them to come through your story. You nailed EVERYONE. Also I stan big Thomas and small Percy I loved seeing them double head, it's adorable. Total big brother energy. Phenomenal work! Now to watch 7!!

It's always lovely to hear your thoughts on my stuff, having looked up to you since I first saw "Pacifics" all those years ago! I'm glad you enjoy the mystery elements! Those bits that I drop into this series, whether self-explained or not, are absolutely one of my favourite things to do. Laying everything out for the viewer and letting them put it together just feels so fun to watch! Edward's faith in Sir Topham Hatt is very strong! Ever since The Fat Controller approached him directly after the engines went on strike, he's always felt that connection with him, and I'm glad you noticed it :D As my cowriter said, we'd love to read your thoughts on Episode 7, if you wish to share them! :)

You generally want to block out trains based on where each string of cars is going. For example, if you're dropping off a string of empties at a coal mine, some vans of finished general goods at a local distributor warehouse, and some tankers at a cleaning products factory, you'll want to arrange the train in reverse order of what you're dropping off first - in this case, tankers up front, vans in the middle, gondolas or hoppers in the rear.

I have never realized how small Percy really is compared to Thomas. In the TV show they appear almost the same height and width. When you put them as their real life counterparts, the size difference is insane. I also remember hearing someone say Percy was rather strong for their size, just never _how_ strong. Kinda cool. Based on the scene where Percy comes to life, I believe Lady is like a goddess. Like God has given life to us human beings and animals, I believe Lady does the same for the engines. @@SodorTrain1225 No worries! This is really simplified, but basically, "nonbinary" is in reference to the concept of two genders. Binary refers to two. So if you're nonbinary, you're not one of the two genders He/him pronouns are used for boys She/her pronouns are used for girls They/them pronouns are used for nonbinary people! Percy's nonbinary because their voice actor is also nonbinary, and it just felt right! :) In terms of Rusty, Britt Allcroft wanted Rusty to be a "gender neutral" engine, which is why Rusty was never called "he" or "she," but rather "the little diesel." It's a nonbinary term, technically, since it doesn't choose either of the existing genders

okay, so thomas is a 3F, and percy's stronger. meaning Percy is AT LEAST a Higher tier 3F, but ima give them the benefit of the doubt and say a 4F. Percy can obviously pull harder then thomas, in fact clearly pulling him. i would like to say Percy is, at most a 5F, due to the factors of weight, potential traction and overall size, but they could be stronger in theory, we'll need for topham to do a proper test to actually tell. but to be honest, considering the americans had, at this point in the series, a 0-6-0 tender engine with as much power as a 9F in britain, i feel like Percy could range between 4 to 7
