The first bass line I learned was Jungle Boogie. Hot Pants by James Brown as my warm-up song for a long time. Perfect for developing rhythm and feel.

The best entry level bassline to learn is no doubt Sly and the Family Stone's "Everyday People". One note only!

I got forced into singing and playing it a couple years ago on a three night Bourbon Street gig. Singers were all tied up so me and the keyboard player did the duties.

Happy New Year Ted 🎉.. I only have 4 string basses so I use Drop D tuning for Superstition which means I can then use a low E flat 👍🌈

I really like your content. Is it okay if I give your channel a shout-out? I think your channel can help the subscribers I have. They ask me to do bass tutorials but I don't have the time as I make music as well as do bass covers and your skill and tutaledge is what they need, in my opinion. Happy New Year to you and have a great day. bro.🫡
