TEDx Sugar Land | Empowering Voices, Enacting Changes

Highlights from the fall edition of TEDxSugarLand were hosted at the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Center in Sugar Land. The event, centered on the theme “Empowering Voices, Enacting Change,” brought together a community of passionate individuals committed to making a difference. We were moved by Rhonda Kuykendall’s powerful insights on “Human Trafficking: Healing Through Helping,” inspired by Ricky Dickson’s transformative journey from fear to faith, equipped by Anum Ali with tools for digital resilience, and empowered by Kevin Rile’s message of self-leadership. Natalie Picha also delivered a thought-provoking talk on “Equal Money, Equal Power: Financial Literacy as a Path to Empowerment,” reminding us how financial knowledge is key to unlocking personal and collective empowerment.
