It was crucial opportunity to understand about writing. Definitely, reading is contagious. I realize reading makes me empathize with others. That’s why I’m happy. In addition, I agree with Claudia’s saying. I also think the writer never stop thinking, reading, and writing etc.

Write every single day for ten minutes. Then, after a month check what you have written, and you will be surprised . :)

Your ideas were revealing, educational and filled with light- hearted humour that involved your audience. You have great poise and revealed the hard work , not to mention the time involved in your craft. Looking at the floor at the teleprommpter for most of your speech was distracting though. I can understand why you are an award winning writer and I enjoyed learning from you.

Thanks Kevin. That was the very first time I used a teleprompter, I never even got to practice on one, so you're right. But very glad you enjoyed the talk.

When I was 10-14 I wrote everyday. I wrote over my lunch hour, I wrote instead of seeing friends, I wrote in the middle of the night. I forever moarn the passion I once had. I will never feel that same spark. It's the biggest heartbreak of my life. And I never wanted to be famous or make money. I just wanted to write. Now it's gone.

Just bring it back. It's inside you.

Read the Artist’s Way! Sit down and force yourself to write anything at all. You got this :) it’s not gone

@@wesleylapointe9903 thank you ♥️ I will try to read that book. Also, I'm going back to school for nursing but my minor is in creative writing so I'm hoping that having the pressure of due dates will spark my imagination.

The thing she told that she used to have a second page on which she writes the question Why i get bored from this . I we all have to try this in any situation in life..

You can't say "write what you know is bs" then go onto say do your research -- that BECOMES what you know. Then you're "writing what you now" so that's messy. Also blanket statements like "no fiction writer does X" is not helpful to anyone who writes, and DOES already know a lot about their topic, through life exp or study already done, etc. I know this is all her method, and what worked for her, but nobody should talk about writing as if their method is 'the' method, and she doesn't really communicate "this is what worked for me, take what you can." Best advice is the blank page beside you to interrogate yourself as to why scene X is boring to write, etc. Congrats on the award.
