@@lenkasoul6704 Quelepa is an archaeological site. San miguel USED to be lenca territory. There is no Lemca nation. There is next to no native culture left in El Salvador. The fact you are from san miguel doesnt make you lenca.

@@LuisRamirez-vv4dk Quelepa means the Stone of the Jaguar, i haven't said i'm Lenca , that a Childish card, i said i was born in what it used to be Lenca Territory, if you haven't experienced the culture you can't say there's no left native people in el salvador, i invite you to visit chilanga, corinto, perquin,cacaopera, yucuaiquin, mayucaquin, poloros,torola, and the list can go on, go see it yourself!

Love it. I've recently started delving into my ancestry and it's amazing what I know now 😊 there's so much more I want to learn from Lenca history. I haven't been to El Salvador in yeaaars!! But I think it's time to go back 😁 It's like I've gained a new found respect to the land and people that I come from.

Milton - I am beginning this process myself. My family is from La Union. My grandparents are all from there except for my mother's mom who was born and raised in Honduras.
