Teedra will never be mainstream because she will NEVER sell out. I respect her so much for that. I was worried when she signed with Maybach but i think she left them. she doesn't sing for money she sings because its in her heart. shes soulful. she will never be a beyonce and I love her for that. she makes real music. something bout her voice is pure and absent from that garbage. people like that never make it in the industry. i dont want to share with her with the world. no shade...

In my opinion, Beyonce has no vocals, great performer, but that is the extent of her talent. Teedra is most definitely a phenomenal vocalist.

Her voice is very sweet... Her approach is soft but with some power. And she can write too.... Dope!!

as a composer, lyrics as well as music matters to me and also content is what a lot of songs lack but these that she writes. and it is good to know that the artist has something to do with the music they both write and perform. That like a dying breed. No one seems to write for themselves nor speak whats on their minds. So, it is quite refreshing when you see that in music.

Guess the extra time was to allow the listener to reflect on how amazing this song is. Anyway, this is such a beautiful song, and I love what they did with the vocals in the headphones (not sure about speakers since speakers busted). On the first part of the song, you hear Teedra in the right ear, then hear her in both ears on the chorus. Then, with Raphael. it's the same thing but in the left ear on his verse. Then the latter part of the song you hear them in both ears. Love that:)

It is that source energy, God, consciousness, etc that can keep her on the path or help one get back to themselves should this nasty entertainment industry lead one astray. Long story short, she does touch you when she sings. If that is her goal, she has certainly achieved that. Love her music.
