Hiya Rob, your presentation skills are streets ahead of mine, very impressive! I liked the back drop you use at the start of the video with your company logo on the screen, and when you paint yourself out of a box using the sprayer, you nailed the music timing, stopping it just as you did. Ive got a lot to learn! More on topic, thanks for mentioning about the drift management - some of us in the UK suffer from this when our neighbours use sprays and it indiscriminately drifts onto our growing spaces, not cool. Great video, bug thumbs up from me and thank you.

Yeah, and you can even get a few nozzle sizes of each type if you want, to get more or less gallons/1kSF. Like, I've got some stuff that I apply that wants a lot of dilution (so I might need to be at 1 or 1.2 gallon/1kSF. But other stuff is fine with 0.5 gallon/1kSF. So I can just swap out a nozzle and be doing lower flow and only have to fill up my backpack twice.

OK... I have gone online with Amazon and found what appears to be the same nozzles with different serial numbers. Also, no mention of the appropriate cap. I just bought the same Ryobi Sprayer P2806 but am concerned about ordering a nozzle only to find I need a cap or that the threads are not the same... ??? Guidance??? When I purchase a nozzle, do I also have to purchase a dedicated cap for that nozzle. If that was the case; they should come in a package??? Thanks.... Is there some chart you can follow that gives the proper part number for a particular sprayer manufacturer??? I tried contacting Ryobi and they knew nothing... Confused...
@TurfTherapy3 жыл бұрын
My recommendation is to purchase through the sprayer depot links I provided in the video's description to avoid further confusion. I didn't need caps or anything extra for the P2806 Sprayer. A simple unscrew swap and spray. The links aren't affiliated links, FYI. Just the easiest way to avoid confusion. There are other details in the description you may find helpful as well. Thanks for watching, and let me know if you need any further assistance.

Great review and awesome video! I’m in the market for a sprayer. Would you still go with the Ryobi knowing what you know now or pay a little more for something like a Flowzone or Strom. Also do you use the Ryobi for all of your applications? Ferts, Bio-stim, herbicides, pesticides, & fungicides? I keep thinking o need at least two sprayers but not sure. I appreciate your time and advice in advance!
@TurfTherapy4 жыл бұрын
Hey Chris, thank you for watching the video and I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it! That's funny you ask because I'm actually in the market for a new backpack sprayer but not for the reasons you may think. To answer your first question, I probably wouldn't still go with the Ryobi, but that's not I say that the Ryobi hasn't been worth its money. I bought the Ryobi purely because I'm pretty deep into the 40V & 18V line up, and with the cheap tip mods and check valve, it's a great unit. Now, if I have the budget, I would go with the FlowZone Cyclone2V; the variable pressure is a great feature alone for me. If I didn't have the budget and knew about the YT25e - www.sprayers-plus.com/products/yt25e-effortless-hand-held-sprayer/ - I would get that over the Ryobi. The battery lasts forever, and it's a much better unit straight out the box. Lastly, yes, I run everything through the same unit. I always flush my equipment according to the label immediately after applying herbicides, pesticides, etc. I haven't had any issues with crossover following the instructions. But I do have a small ”hand can” dedicated to ”spot” spraying with glyphosate and other hot them. In the end, I will probably pick up another sprayer either the Cyclone or YT and continue to use the Ryobi for chem only most likely, though. Hope this was helpful 🤙🏾🌱

WOW! Very informative! You picked up a new subscriber by the way! I appreciate you taking the time to break it down. Not that I have an unlimited budget. He has a 0.5 gallons per minute spray rate with that TeeJet tip. Most herbicides are rated 1000 sq ft per gallon, which works out to 2 minutes per gallon, 0.5 gpm flow rate, per 1,000 sq ft. He states he was going to do 1 gallon per 1,000 sq ft, 4 gallons on 4,000 sq ft, which is the correct application rate for most herbicides. Then he says he didn't want to come up short, so now I'm going to do 2000 sq ft on 4 gallons, giving me more time to do it. This is incorrect and he is doubling the application rate by applying 2 gallons per 1,000 sq ft. TeeJet tips are color coded according to the flow rate. Red is 4.9 gpm at 60 psi. They have a great online catalog with all the tips and flow rates.

Does using more volume carrier but maintaining the proper rate of product for the area being covered present an issue holistically?
@Kevin-mm6xm7 ай бұрын
@@TurfTherapy No, but the real question is why do it that way? Mix your proper rate applied 1 gallon to 1000 sq ft and you're assured of the best cost effective treatment in terms of time and money and the most accurate application rate per 1000 sq ft.
