Thank you. I understand that the lower the pixel radius when using frequency separation, the less you have to work, but the less control you have. By the same token, the higher the radius, the more you have to work, but with more control. I also understand how important it is to blend the shadow areas, midtones and highlights with the mixer brush separately. What about edges? Do you generally blend or soften the edges of the tonal areas also? I understand edges can be distracting.
