Nice adventure :D any recs for Tyre width?

I was out there on my gravel bike with thick mtb tyres and that was a definite overkill for the looong stretches of tarmac. Having said that, the best (and most quiet) areas required taking a dirt road so I’d say some reasonably thin cyclocross tyres might be closer to optimal. I was in no hurry so no probs with mtb tyres either and they gave me good freedom when I wanted to go explore the interesting looking trail here or there 🙂 Next time I’d still pick something thinner though.
