For all those who are dissatisfied with the ending of the movie: If you notice, at the end of "That's how we do" when Mack and Brady introduce themselves again, Leela winks at Mack from the screen. Moments later, Mack and Brady look at each other, laugh, and hug each other, ending up very close to each other (even Brady carries Mack). It would be strange to behave like this with a person they were just meeting, which would mean that at that moment they already remembered each other again. It's just a matter of paying careful attention to the scene. They did not forget what they lived through.
