So,when we saw Naruto return to konoha we all expected him to be more mature and they had us in the first half by the way he said "I'm not a kid anymore konohomaru" but later we find out he's the same.... But Boruto's case is entirely different... He's being hunted by the whole world... So I don't think he'll be like his part 1 self anymore.....Even by the end of code arc Boruto's maturity and attitude in serious moments was already peak.... I won't even be surprised if Boruto has atleast 100 members blood on his hands... Let's see....

While Kishimoto is an overall better illustrator having mastered character proportions, perspectives, storyboarding (panelling) and shading, Ikemoto definitely trumps over his mentor when it comes to giving characters drip and making them look badass overall. His artstyle definitely leans more toward the gritty and realistic style oftentimes adding tons of little details like hair strands, fur and not to mention the number of belts, loose chains, beads, ornaments and patterns on character's clothings. Stuff like facial features and hands are also more detailed when compared to Kishimoto. Like you mentioned in the video, I am slightly worried about the new designs as they are extremely detailed and knowing SP, they tend to oversimplify the manga's design which I feel is an absolute disservice to Ikemoto's work and talent. I just dont want the manga's art to start looking like the anime, like how Kishimoto's art evolved over the years and eventually looked like the show. One can hope that every episode looks like episode 189 when the anime eventually returns...

By this design you can tell that show will get darker and waaay more serious when TS comes, we wont have those childliish moments like in part 1. Also you can already see by facial expression that Boruto matured both physically and mentally and that he aint that same kid anymore which shows that Ikemoto is good with his designs and he improved A LOT whit characters expressions which is really nice to see. Im just scared when anime gets the hold of this, im sure they will do the same as with other designs... after they finish pre TS they should take a break and start the production to get all these designs really good and to make animation at least good, it doesnt even need to be godlike but they def need to take a break when they get to TS in the anime, at least a whole year break if not longer to start producing episodes

Redesign is better in pretty much every way. The hair can be argued to be worse probably, but the whole outfit is easily better. When it comes to the character designs, I don't mind if they simplify elements of the outfits in the anime. I absolutely don't want this to turn into Bleach TYBW or JoJo's situation where the art is prioritized over the animation. Praying to God that Pierrot doesn't kill Boruto with the colorful compositing and stiff art just because casuals will eat it up. The 20th anniversary Naruto video was *extremely* concerning because of how the masses blindly ate it up.

I believe that they made part 1 more bright and colourful to emphasize on the fact that entire part 1 of anime was only Boruto remembering his Happy times which ended by the code arc.... And the moment the prophecy arc started ,Boruto's life starts getting darker and darker,that's why I believe they stopped the anime at chp 68 because after that the set up for his loss starts happening... So I think part 2 of the anime will be more darker both story wise and colour pallete wise.... And the animation depends on the studio....I want boruto to have fast paced animation since Boruto is more of a Speedster like sasuke and Minato rather than raw power kinda fighter like Naruto.... So,greeting fast paced animation like ep 65 would definitely help showcase his skills better(and obviously it will look awesome)....

@@andrewgarfield1421 I'm not too worried about the color palette, more so how much they'll try to focus on it to make it pop needlessly. The animation studio will be Pierrot, there's no doubt. Naruto/Boruto has been their biggest cow pretty much since the beginning, and they will not let it go. Not to mention that there's staff members who've been on the series literally from the beginning of the original Naruto. We don't need fast paced animation; we just need animation that suits the scenes properly. Just like we've gotten for the franchise throughout all these years. They just need the big names to return and set up a schedule that works for the quality of the show and the health of the staff... but obviously that's too much to ask for in the anime industry.

i think that both kawaki and boruto are gonna have their inactive karma patterns start to spread until they eventually reach v1. as boruto continues to spreads the seal, the karma pattern will turn blue once activated. boruto will only activate the seal as far as he has got the pattern to stretch in order to have better control over momoshiki.
