This is just a terrible story! Sure, it has a good message, but the way you executed it was so BAD! First of all, you try to portray Alex as the awful person here for lying, but this whole video portrays him more of a victim. His parents are irresponsible and clearly favor his brother(who is supposed to be this wise older sibling, but he just comes across as a jackass). Switching to an oral exam instead of a written one without warning is genuinely such a horrible thing to do to students. There are many ways Alex could've still kept his new iPhone 15 1. He could've told his parents that he got a B- on the 'previous' test, so he wouldn't have to give Daisy some tutor 2. Well, that’s what happens when students are afraid to ask for help. The standards are sometimes set way too high that students feel they must be perfect that have HAVE to pass EVERY single test and mistakes are not tolerated. Instead of shaming them and making them feel like failing a test is the end of the world, offer to help them and work with them to get their grades on track. They need to be caught when they fall and not shamed or they will CONTINUE to FAIL.
