the problem with these kind of videos is that they’re unrealistic. the dad teaching his daughter financial responsibility is honestly understandable and reasonable. we shouldn’t encourage young individuals to always rely on a social media platform for their future. yes, it’s great to follow your passion, but it shouldn’t go as far as getting distracted ON THE JOB. when it comes to young individuals, they shouldn’t make such financially risky decisions. for example, as a young individual myself, i have a passion for video editing and i hope that it becomes my career path in the future, but i don’t completely rely on social media cuz failure is always possible. that’s why i make sure my grade averages are at least a 90%, which is what townsend harris, the school i want to go to, expects from students. see how i’m actually being realistic with my future? the kids who want to become youtubers, or tiktokers in these videos apparently ALWAYS become successful, which is honestly a joke and extremely unrealistic. like- who actually watches product reviewers nowadays? 🤣 anyways, good for you if you actually read this far TvT 👍🏻 i just realized i wrote a whole paragraph- 🗿

Ok I understand that it's important to follow your dreams, and to work on what your passionate about but not every single person who lives on earth will be able to reach success or live the dream life. Yes a few people get rich and famous after the first couple attempts but it's unrealistic to just work at a small business one day and then expect to be a brand new person the next night. Everyone has to start somewhere, realistically you would need some small jobs at first to get your life together and prepare for the struggles the world has to bring. You're not always gonna love or be passionate about your first job or career. It could take someone decades to accomplish their goals, children can't just grow up and assume life will fall into place, they can't just assume they will get everything they want in life if they try. Everybody lives a life with ups and downs, you can't get on the roller coaster and stay at the top forever, you gotta come down at some point. (Sorry for making the comment so long! I'd just thought I would share a realistic life lesson)
