It's insane to me that parents won't educate their kids on sex ed and refuse birth control to prevent pregnancy like ahh yes the better option is to not provide the pill increasing the risk of pregnancy make it make sense

That’s why middle and elementary schools do. Not to mention movies, tv shows, commercials, etc. I find it veryyyyy hard to believe that a 15 year old “didn’t know” about forms of birth control other than the pill. If you know what the pill is, you know what a condom is.

Educate her about sex, birthcontrol, and STIs. 11 is not to young to hear about these matters. Alert her about sexual abusers and “Grooming.” About how if something seems to her to be “off,” that she should tell you or the police. Also tell her about all the bad drugs that are out there and that some pills and even weed being sold on the street is literally fatal to a person, that kids her age a slightly older are dying from fentanyl poisoning because they thought that what they were getting was percoset or xanax or something innocent sounding. Tell her that this is being done deliberately by Mexican criminal gangs who are selling this stuff and by the Chinese who are selling fentanyl ingredients to Mexican gangs, both of whom are happy to see American kids such as herself die from fentanyl poisoning or overdose, that right now 300-400 young people in this country are dying every day from taking this stuff. Please explain this to her.

I think we as a society need to stop telling literal children that they need a boyfriend at 12 to 14 years old to fit in or to fill whole, because quite frankly they are still babies and yes while they should be educated on romantic relationships and sex I feel like no one of that age should be participating in it. If Someone had spoken to this poor girl, and given her a healthier image of what it is to be a child and live in the moment and what a healthy relationship can look like for her future, none of this would’ve ever happened. Too many times girls don’t recognise the signs of a boyfriend pressuring the and they allow themselves to be manipulated. I think we need to start teaching young girls to stand their ground no matter what and when you’re not ready, you’re not ready, and there is never ever any issue with not being ready.

I had a son at age 20, my son’s father was abusive with me while I was pregnant, put mine and my son’s life at risk several times while I was pregnant. I left him right after a very violent incident right before I gave birth to my son. he was in my son’s life for a brief amount of time but he started to get mentally unwell and scared me, so I got a year long restraining order against him and he was supposed to go to drug and alcohol counseling per the judge before he even considered allowing him supervised visits. He never did those things and continues to do things that show he is still violent and making dumb choices so I have not allowed him any supervised visits. His father has asked me 3 or 4 times to have supervised visits but I don’t want to put my son through that. To me it’s better that he has never met his father than to risk something bad happening and hurting him because he doesn’t understand why he can’t be around him more and I would never be okay if his father did something to hurt him physically or mentally. Am I in the wrong? Should I allow his father to be in his life?

i sat in the operating room for a surgery abortion with someone close to me. i won’t say who for her privacy. Anyway they allowed me to hold her hand and wipe tears etc. They gave her the exact same options for pain. she picked the most strongest one. They did the normal amount and it didn’t even effect her, she felt everything to the point she was about to faint from pain. She ended up having to get triple the normal fentanyl injections they do for a woman her sz. and she was still scream crying in pain and my hands hurt for days after from how hard she was squeezing them. i was so thankful i never had to go through that experience. she was in a very similar situation with a HS bf who was much older and lying about his age. And he physically started beating her. after she finally left him he broke in our house and R-worded her and she ended up pregnant. so it was definitely the best decision but it was awful. i know that most people don’t understand that. and it’s not the “easy way out” by any means. Damn I don’t think she realizes that she was an enabler. Like after John smashes a window in her face with a baseball bat, she thinks it’s her fault & doesn’t file a long-term restraining order. She does say that her behavior wasn't ideal here and there but I can see why people would think that

she was literally 15 bro maybe don’t call a literal child with clearly no guidance a mess??? god damn

She was literally 16 after giving birth. Not to mention her mom didn't put her in birth control when her boyfriend was living with her in the house. Doubt they'd have enough common sense to do that after she already got pregnant.

She was a child, I feel like this is more on her mother like who would let their 15 year old daughter’s boyfriend live at their house tf????

iud’s don’t work for everyone. you can be allergic, your body can try to reject it, bleeding for months, it’s not for everybody

It’s disgusting that a father would pressure and try to force his daughter to end the life of his own granddaughter.

omg- your baggage smashed your boyfriend's car windows while you were screaming hysterically and YOU were upset he told you to shut up? 😂😂😂 She then calls her mom reckless for not putting up with her sh*t Then it's her stepmom's fault the baby got out... when does she ever take responsibility for her actions...
