Here goes my long info text about them! This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; a survival audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! And they broke the record of their own with Lazenca Save Us winning 4 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs 2! Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (ex-research chemist & rock vocalist with soprano falsetto voice), Cho MinGyu (classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (musical actor, one of the semi-finalists from Voice Korea 2, rough-textured husky tone with R&B, Pop groove). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. Ko WooRim said they met more than 300 days together in Phantom Singer All Stars behind interview but in a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in 2020. So I think this explains how their perfection executed.

Thank you for your beautiful reaction to Forestella! Your voice is so nice to hear as well. Surprisingly the guy who sang the high-pitched solo is a rocker. Yes with beautiful head voice falsetto. But he was working as a research chemist in a quite good company and sang as a rock vocalist in an amateur rock band in his leisure time when he auditioned Phantom Singer 2 -where made Forestella. If you keep reacting to Forestella, you'll see how versatile their music is. But be extra-careful when you use any JTBC video! Need blurred or darkening the video to avoid being blocked.

They consist of two classical vocals (bass and tenor), one musical actor (R&B style with a soft or husky voice) and one rocker (soprano voice & rock singer). The countertenor singer has never been professionally trained, but has a great head voice and, surprisingly, is a rock singer originally. He sings freely between rock and soprano singing in one song. Forestella met each other in Season 2 of Phantom Singer which selects a crossover vocal group, and won the final victory. For acapella groups, it is time to go one better and listen to the quintet "Home Free", very different to Forestella and in my opinion better.
