Tramel is NOT ready to be a father. He definitely has some issues regarding his father’s absence as well as his relationship with his mother. It definitely seems like he may have gotten her pregnant on purpose to try and prove something. Like that he’s not like his father, as his mother alleges. Ultimately, I don’t know what Maria decided, but I hope that she made the best decision for HER.

I was 16 when I got pregnant and contiplated everything abortion, adoption, everything I gave birth at 17 my son is 9 now I also have a 4 year old I made the right decision of keeping my baby. and I am blessed to have been able to finish school and now I have a great job I dont think ones should use getting pregnant early as a excuse I mean everyone knows what sex leads to so handle the responsibility.

If a teenage girl or woman became pregnant, including in the cases of rape, and was unmarried she was sent off to abusive institutions. This happened in Ireland, Britain, Canada, the USA, Australia, and likely more nations. It happened from the 1920s through the early 1980s and as late as 1996 in Ireland (stopped in the 1970s in some US states). At the instiutions the girls were worked as literal slaves and abused. During childbirth they were denied any intervention and pain medication as punishment and at least 800 newborns and young ladies in Ireland died with nobody ever brought to justice. When the babies were born they were not allowed to touch them and in some circumstances were not even told the sex of their baby, and they were not allowed to keep their child. This is why most Canadian provinces and most US states refuse to give original birth certificates to adopted people. This is why the Irish government demands adopted people do not go looking for their birthmothers because they are trying to cover up years and years of murder, abuse, and human trafficking such as the Irish babies adopted to wealthy Americans and the Georgia Tann case. It has nothing to do with privacy because original birth certificates aren't sealed until the adoption is finalized, so foster kids have access to their original certificate making privacy null and void. The governments, such as across Canada and the States, falsified the paperwork even further by putting false names or changing the birthdate. Today there is still a lot of corruption involved in the adoption industry. A multi billion dollar industry less regulated than the real estate industry, but that's another story for another day. Just a little history lesson this video didn't teach you.

The way he hugged her seemed as if he was saying "It's going to be okay, I got you" he was way too passionate about wanting her to keep the baby . I think that if she got the abortion he would have reacted in a different way ... maybe by walking away. I think she was just afraid to go through it all, and thats why she looked like that before the video ended...

Scenarios USA This is probably a long shot but in the beginning she expressed that this was her first born so she was conflicted. Coupled with the fact that she loved the boyfriend and she had her moms support. She probably decided she wasn't ready to undergo the procedure as abortions can be emotionally traumatic for some especially when you aren't sure a 100%. On the flip side she had her friends support and maybe school was a lot to her at that time and the guy decided to support whatever decision she made

In my honest opinion, I think Maria did the abortion procedure. at first, I thought she kept it, but after watching this film again two years later, I changed my mind. I believe she gave it up because it was pretty awkward when she met up with Tramell. Also, her friend left so they can be together alone. He looked like he was going to cry as well. I watched this short film when I was 15 and now I'm 17. This is a very touching story. I love it
