I saw the end of this episode where she was being escorted to treatment; it broke my heart seeing her scream at her mother… _and make sense_. We don’t use profanity because it’s disrespectful. When we were raising ours there would never be a time the kids would use it. Now they are adults and should anyone use profanity at either of us, we shut the whole conversation down and call it as it is. We will not tolerate it. To me, my opinion, good parenting starts there. There is a huge amount of romanticism associated with school shootings when it comes to kids like this. I still think the best way to stop that is for the media to change how they report these incidents (by not focusing on the perpetrator(s) and instead on the victims) and by explaining to these kids how ridiculed and despised they're gonna be if they choose to carry out something so disgustingly heinous.

There is a reason a 15 YEAR OLD is acting out this way. You all can clearly see how angry she is and how selfish she is, but do you also see how HURT she is? How traumatized she is? it’s obvious that she is so scared and hurt, so she hides behind a front of ignorance and power so that others perceive her as strong. she’s never felt love but she’s felt fear, so she projects fear onto others. she seems like she’s intimidated by her genuine feelings and intelligence because it could potentially be seen as weakness. i hope one day she can be okay with herself and at peace with others. maybe forgiveness towards her father and herself will help but it’s definitely a challenge
