Teen With Cerebral Palsy Has Magical Prom Night Thanks to Best Friend

A girl with cerebral palsy got the prom night every teenager deserves. Evelyn Araujo and Tahj Oliver met when they were sophomores at East Oswego High School in Illinois. When he heard the school was having a special needs prom, Tahj knew he wanted to ask Evelyn and surprised her in class with a promposal. This is absolutely amazing I also have Cerebral Palsy and I'm in a wheelchair. I left school nearly four months ago, and my prom was on 23rd June. The school I went to was built in the 1900s. I started the school in 2003 the last year before the school got knocked down and ten years later the school is still open all brand new, and because I am the longest student in that school I had an amazing prom!❤

Love this story, amazing ;) Brought tears to my eyes... my best friend is in a wheelchair, with the same condition. You take the most simple things in life for granted, and I look at her and the things she can't do that we totally take for granted, and it really makes you re evaluate what's important in life. One of my best friends shaun has celebral palsy im in 5th grade he is actually in 4th but he skipped a grade.Having celebral palsy doesnt stop him from doing anything btw he does not have a wheelchair. He is such a fun spirited loving guy. He even became school secretary!
