This show really displayed human relationships in the best form possible (whether it was between friends, lovers, family members or even the relationship between unrelated ones like the one in this scene), that's why you feel highly sympathetic with every character (and I am not even talking about the characters' individual stories)🥀

The only reason she said she thinks she made a mistake with Scott was because by this point Crystal had declined season 4. Jeff knew he was killing Allison off, so they needed her to reconfirm her feelings to make the ending more powerful. It worked. What's messed up is that the real reason that Allison and Isaac got together was because the actors were dating in real life. The fact that so many off screen things affected the story is probably why the show went on decline so fast after starting so strong.
