My video was apparently played at "Days of the Wolf", a Teen Wolf convention in Burbank sometime in 2014 - it was shown on the big screens before JR Bourne's talk! One kind attendee commented & let me know later that week ;) I think that makes this one of my most famous fanvideos!! So honored and glad I made this even if it's not one of my absolute best vids lol.
Includes clips only up thru ep 3x12. Originally posted Aug 29, 2013! • Teen Wolf: Allison & C... - but that posting of the vid (with 39K views, wow!) has been blocked in the USA for who knows how many years, so I finally re-uploaded it today!

Original description:
I didn't start watching the show till maybe the end of June or beginning of July, but I watched the first two seasons on Netflix and got totally hooked. Once I got caught up continued to watch every season 3 episode left as it aired. Now we're at a 4-and-a-half month hiatus until January 6th and ah the inspiration for me to vid this fandom is overpowering everything else for me. I apologize to all of my non-Teen Wolf subscribers. ;) And I hope the Teen Wolf fans like my vids. It's my new obsession/addiction right now.
Stiles & his dad are actually my fav of the 3 main parent/child relationships on the show, but idk... for some reason I got more inspired to vid these two first. I know Stiles & his dad have actually been vidded, but I searched & could not find ANY fanvideo tributes for the interesting bond Allison has with her dad on the show. So I'm really glad to have been inspired enough to make this.
It's a shame that such an important relationship on the show has never been focused on in a fanvid before. In general, in this fandom in particular, I can see that platonic bonds are a lot less popular so I guess that's probably why. When I searched for vids of Allison and her dad I found that multiple people have vidded Mr. Argent in a slash ship with Peter Hale lol rather than vid him in a canon way. I hope some fans enjoy non-romantic stuff too.
I went thru every episode that JR Bourne appeared in according to imdb - he's been in 30 out of 36 episodes. I tried to find every single scene related to Allison & her dad's dynamic, altho I may have missed a few. I also included a moment from an additional episode where Allison considers calling her dad, despite JR Bourne not appearing in that episode (2x05 "Venemous"). I tried really hard to make a comprehensive tribute to them, and was glad to find so many moments to make it so that I didn't have to cut the song. I just barely had enough footage to make the full song work, and even felt like I had run out of clips at the end, but I think I did manage to make this work.
I still think aspects of this could be better, but all in all it's probably the Teen Wolf video out of all four of the ones I've made so far that I put the most time and effort into, and the one I'm most proud of. ;) I hope you all enjoy it.
Btw, I think Chris Argent reminds me a lot of HRG aka Noah Bennet on the show Heroes, and Chris/Allison reminds me a lot of HRG/Claire. I remember Noah/Claire were vidded CONSTANTLY back when Heroes season 1 and season 2 were airing so that is part of what shocks me about Allison/Chris never being vidded. ;) I also can credit my song choice idea to a Claire/HRG fanvideo I could swear I saw back then, but now when I search I can't find anything of the sort.
I think the song worked amazingly well for Allison & Chris because so much of his role on the show is working hard to fight to protect Allison, and in 3x11 he even did that shocking and epic "sacrificing himself" thing that I just thought really hit home for the "even if saving you sends me to heaven" lyric. ;) But also, there are all these little lyrics in the song like, "Please don't throw that away" which work well for when Allison is being a bit crazy at the end of season 2. ;) Allison isn't always the good girl & the song worked for me for that.
Song: Your Guardian Angel
Artist: The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Voiceovers:
Lydia: Someone's "Daddy's Little Girl".
Chris: I mean you get that... I'm just thinking of my daughter's safety, right?
Chris: I'm very protective of the things I love.
Chris: What about Allison? How am I supposed to get her through this?
Stiles: Her mom dying hit her pretty hard. But I guess it brought her and her dad closer.
Chris: We know it's hard on her. But it's a necessary evil.
Allison: I think I have to call my dad.
Chris: Go- Go back to bed.
Chris: I care about you.
Stiles: Jennifer, she... she has Allison's father. She took him.
Allison: Yeah, my dad made it. It's kind of a ceremonial thing.
Dr. Alan Deaton: Essentially you, Allison, and Stiles have to be surrogate sacrifices for your parents.
Scott: Your dad's watching.
Allison: Good.
Jennifer: Now this is a sacrifice.
Allison: They're all gonna die.
