I agree but I feel that was one right there, iirc he's the only werewolf we see cross a mountash line bar a beta of Scott's making who Derek hints will be stonger because of Scott and his IED. One of oldest alphas we met had respect for him just being a true alpha. The dread doctors wanted the true alpha out the way presumably they were worried he would be able to rival their monster. Its long hinted that true alphas have other abilities or just more powerful one's than regular ones, maybe their have a tad more strength, more speed, longer life all we know is that pretty much everyone is scared or in awe of that status it's different somehow. I feel there are powers he will have but he won't find them fast. Remember a biten normal alpha werewolf apparently didn't age between the 1940s and the 2010s. So he has a long time to find out.

@@tremayne5477 Off the top of my head I'd guess Scott has more potential power than the typical alpha. So better healing, more strength, more speed, more resistance to mountain Ash mistletoe and wolfsbane. We know he's more resistant to electricity with the torture in Mexico and with Kira at eichen, and from heat with the thermo-garrote wire. But how much that differs from a normal alpha is unknown. We know he can cross weak or small mountain Ash barriers, a mountain Ash circle stopped a pack of alphas including the demon wolf, yet Scott crossed a similar one shortly after a lunar eclipse. Which was met with awe by Derek, Ducalion and the Darach. One thing we know Scott can do which we've seen no one else do is make a pack out of various natural and supernatural beings including: humans, banshees, kitsune, werewolves, werecoyote and chimeras. This is not a pseudo pack but one that works like a regular one of just werewolves and mutually empowers all members. Scott is also a natural leader he's developed a massive amount of respect amongst werewolves and supernaturals presumably he will be filling a role similar to Talia Hale despite his age and relative inexperience. Now that's probably more the man than wolf but its probably more prevalent in true alphas. I'd also suggest that Scott might be able to have a larger full transformation something closer to the beast. We saw him almost lose control and he began to shift again despite being already shifted. This maybe why the dead doctors wanted him out the way because he could hinder the beast. There was a suggestion on some forums that Scott might be able to influence alphas similar to how normal alphas influence betas. Now this might be a complete reach or may be linked into his leadership abilities but he'd still it would be a cool skill. Other unique powers would be cool but you've got to be careful not to make him over powered.

Scott literally was no different than any other alpha aside from being a true alpha. He wasnt stronger because next season he was punked by betas, healing faster maybe but we didnt see it on action. He couldn't even break through mountain ash again and he was never shown to be imminent to wolf's bane. He just has a special status for being a true alpha but he was by no means special among werewolves in terms of ability. I do wish they had some special ability that no other werewolf has but thats just not the case

They made such a hype over the true alpha status, they made alphas with near a century of experience and abnormal power levels be in awe of Scott for just being a true alpha. Members of Satomi's pack repeatedly tell Liam that he's lucky to be the beta of a true alpha, they make such a thing over him being a true alpha of this legend and it amounts to 1 act of breaking a mountain Ash barrier and 1 feat of superhealing with his eyes. It would be nice to have seen that the rank mean more than Scott has great sense of character. I doubt other Alphas, some are decades possibly even centuries old , dark druids or what ever would be fearful and awe struck of a teenager with a strong sense of morality.
