I respect Dylan’s decision not to reprise his roll but he will for sure be greatly missed. Everyone loves Stiles and I’m curious how they’re gonna explain his absence. I’m really hoping for maybe just a small cameo from him but that doesn’t seem likely. It also feels like it as yesterday when the series debuted in June of 2011. They were all high school students and now here we are soon to watch the movie in 2023 with them all in their 30s.

Dylan is probably scared "Stiles" is all he'll ever be. A lot of young actors can't move past it and other movies they're in get damaged by them not being that other character anymore. Looks like he might be trying to do some voice acting now too.

I was disappointed that Stiles wasn't back for this but with the big bad being the Nogitsune it makes a lot of sense. When they are gathering everyone, they would hesitate to call him since he went through so much the last time, they delt with it.

1.Ok I've had enough, it would be amazing if stiles showed up, but the actor said that he wants to move past that, that he finished a chapter and if u truly love stiles like I see so many of u claim, the best u can do is respect the guy's decision. 2. The whole I can't believe Malia and Scott broke up thing is just too much. I was the biggest shipper for them, but this story takes place 15yrs in the future, when we last saw them they were barely adults, now they've grown and matured, ppl grow apart mostly to experience new things or to create an identity for themselves. Honestly I was hoping Kira and Issac would return. As far as friend and love interest went, they were my favourite. Stiles was great don't get me wrong but the Scott/Isaac dynamic was strong. Similar with Allison or Malia, they were great but the Scott/Kira relationship was just awkward, cute and all around likeable. The awkward kiss and I love you were just hilarious because they were kinda realistic situations 😅

After watching this, it feels like this absolutely needed to be a full season of a tv show. There's been a 15 year time gap and they have literally no time to explain what's happened to any of the characters in that time, nor do they have time to introduce them to a new audience who hasn't been around to see the whole show. Because of this they don't even bother to change anything at all and everyone is basically just the same as where we left them in season 6 and the things that have changed get absolutely no explanation that is longer than one sentence. It feels like no effort was put into anything really and Paramount just reused an old villain and bring in an old random character that was never especially relevant and that I had honestly forgot about as the "twist villain" without explaining how he was even alive and how he got there and why he blamed Scott for everything. I mean I hadn't expected it to be anything more than a cashgrab based on nostalgia from the old fans but it could've been a lot better than what they did. 15 years is an extremely long time to just skip over like it was nothing and then go right back to where we left. Either they should've made it a much shorter time gap and made it into a full season to have time to show all the characters lives and how it relates to the story and why they're necessary. Or they should've made the movie for people with no prior knowledge of teen wolf at all. Just starting from scratch entirely with everyone in entirely different places, explaining only what is needed to understand what's happening right now. Good way to do that would be for Scott to actually literally go around collecting all the members of his pack so that we get introduced to them _through_ him and see where they are and how they're living and what they're doing and what their relationship with Scott is.

I’m sorry but a Nogitsune based plot without Stiles or Kira simply dosent make sense to me. Am I opposed to it tho? No but it’s hard for me to wrap my head around this because the Nogitsune itself was intrinsically linked to Stiles. So the fact that they, at least from the look of the trailer, are trying to retroactively make it so the Nogitsune isn’t linked to stiles feels weird

I wish that Scott and Kira got there happy ending. Kira's character was also treated so poorly like she could never be loved like Allison. She deserved so much better. And the way the actress was treated and written off, just felt so incomplete and disrespectful especially considering that she was one of the only People of color on the show in a leading role. I loved teen wolf but after writing off Kira it never was the same. I also hope Malia gets a happy ending in the movie. Her and stiles were so cute, and I hate that Stiles always cared more about Lydia. This movie has such potential, but I'm nervous its not going to live up to it. Oh and I would love if they brought Braeden back! Her and Derek should be end game!

Honestly I'm so excited for this! I was curious to how they would bring Allison back, but to see they are reprising that whole storyline, I think that's gonna be great! Still hesitant about Derek having a son, but maybe it'll be good, since he won't really be alone anymore.
