Teenage Engineering OP-1 field + EP-133 combo - how to SYNC and creatively SIDECHAIN & MODULATE live

Things can get creative when you sync an OP-1 field and the EP-133 K.O. II together, for live performance or creative stdio effects. In this video we show you how to sync them and also feed the EP-133 audio into OP-1 field. Any audio input can act as a modulation source for the OP-1 field and in this example the EP-133 is used to sidechain and modulate the synths and effects of the OP-1 field.

So i figured it out... you leave a screen off in your steps... 1. After you press SHIFT = COM 2. you go into the LIST Screen (Button 3) 3. Change CLOCK, NOTES and OTHER to (OUT) 4. Hit the BACK Button 5. you go into the MIDI Screen (Button 1) 6.I left the MIDI CH on 1... and Change CLOCK, NOTES and OTHER to (OUT) Now when you go out and press play it will be synced... Also... I think i know but how would i reverse this if i wanted to go from the ep133 into the op-1f?

OG OP-1 doesn’t have usb host capabilities

This doesn't work for me, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've tried including @monotoneLou's suggestion below, but that also doesn't help. The OP1 _does_ control the playback on the EP1330, but I don't hear any sound coming through / out of the op1f Any pointers? thanks.

Can you please do a reverse video of this where (and would be way more beneficial) i go from the ko ii synced into the op-1 field? Yes i know i can just "record" in but if i can slave the way this does in reverse it would make the recording perfect on stop and starts instead of guessing...

Could you share more options please? For example how to use op-1 field sounds with Ep-133 sequencer? If you use Ep133 sequencer to record op-1 sound, how many sound can be used at the same time?

I second this! You all make the best TE tutorials! I would love to see how to use the Ep133 to sequence drums, etc on the OP1-f. Having the Ep133 quantization would change everything!

Hiya, you can record from the line out of the OP-1 field into the line in of the Ep-133. If you press the sample button you enter the sample mode where you can record samples onto pads - hope that helps :)
