The fact he did this without using donnie is even more impressive. The first sub boss and main boss can be done easy with him by jumping on the ledges and aiming down. Not a speed strat but guarantees a no damage win since they can't aim up or reach you when they jump at you.

That's a Rope. You can pick them up in Area 3, but their main use is in Area 4 to cross certain gaps you can't jump over.
