I think the main reason why folks might be dumping on this machine is because is was already done. This machine is much better than the Data East version; in addition, this machine would be a great compliment next to the Konami TMNT arcade game.

My local arcade got this in early July and I play it all the damn time. I'm not too big into pinball but I love this game so much.

Love the nice apron Cards that Stern is putting in all the TMNTs. I hope this marks a new trend for them. These premium-quality full-art ones are loads nicer than the generic vanilla ones that they usually put it. It's kind of a no-brainer. I mean it doesn't really cost Stern any extra to make nicer cards, so why not put a little extra effort in.

Stern Pinball used to make awesome, quality, skill based machines that weren’t mainly designed with the sole purpose of getting every possible quarter and not providing a solid ROI to the player. Wheel of Fortune, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and even to a lesser extent, 24 were created back when Stern still cared about the arcade players, as opposed to the wealthy home based owner/collector.

Agree with you initial reaction to art, and how this seems to flow, and code looking promising. Also you did not even touch in this video how the Cooperative programming results in TMNT being the best Cooperative pinball experience. Cooperative Mode is soo cool for families or for non Elwins who want to see more of the deeper code with out the same of not playing the game on standard settings.

Mancave Movie Madness Marketing department is extremely bad at Stern, they could sell so much more marketing the right way, as of right now, its really a shitty job all the way, and thats sad, Stern actually makes aome great pins lately, ive played Iron Maiden, JP, Dead Pool all great games but really poor presented

Their video on Stranger Things where they hyped it up and told everyone it was great made me lose all respect for them. . . May I ask how you over look this??? Am I being too hard?? Played it for about 2 hours at PHoF. Outstanding artwork. Horrid voice acting. And of course, the typical modern Stern MO of a faux flashy game covering up the extremely cheap and low quality interior mechanics. A pinball machine should not need a Day 1 PATCH. It’s not a video game. But they certainly treat their games that way. Gottlieb, Bally-Williams, those greats were real, quality pinball.

Sure we do. We don’t like your comment hahaha just busting chops. We typically review games we own, thus games we prefer. Also, modern games do a great job of offering a well balance of positives. I’m not sure many people would watch a Waterworld review :)

Not a fan of the long single targets. I prefer drop downs all day long. Otherwise, looks like a good shooter with really nice theme integration.
