you know my issue with all modern TMNT games even games like this and Shredders Revenge is they all are missing that intensity that the original arcades had with their music and sound effects, explosions power ups ect, so they are nice but they never capture me like the old arcades use to and really still do today.....

@@hjames78 plus I hated it when I went to the arcade and the joystick was busted. I was somewhat ok with losing twenty-five cents, but it’s ridiculous when arcades would charge fifty- cents up to a 💵 per turn. The amount of lives would differ too.

0:11 Whaaat!?! Leonardo had audio voice in the original arcade version? I only played this on the SNES. There was no audio speech. These ties in with the N64 version of Spider-Man. Where are the cut scenes were voiceless slide shows compared to the actual motion and sound movies of the PlayStation 1.

Honestly I don’t like either of these games; the SNES version is the true winner. Arcade still takes the win over Reshelled but it’s mainly for visuals as I don’t like the gameplay much.

Скорее всего имели место быть проблемы с авторскими правами. Даже сама конами в Mutant Nightmare(Это игра по третьему сезону Черепашек Ниндзя 2003, и там можно открыть бонусный режим с аркадной игрой) вырезала всю музыку и заменила на другую.

Great game, but in my opinion the best version is the SNES version, as some have already commented very well before me. I even think that this is a rare case in the 1990s where a console version managed to be better than the corresponding Arcade version, incredible work by Nintendo/Konami.

Legit question: that boss from the prehistoric time depends on the turtle youre playing or the SNES version simply hav a diferent one? The SNES version had Slash instead of that glob. Even the sewer level, the SNES had the Rat King instead of just fighting the Yellow things like it was a bonus stage. The ship s boss was Leatherface. I think even the Shredder Fight was different because you had to throw the enemies into the screen to defeat Shredder in the technodrome. The Arcade had Toka and Razar.

The arcade and SNES versions did it best. The remake on Xbox360 was a sin against the source material, and Ubisoft should be ashamed of themselves for doing this! They would have had more success making their remake a Wii exclusive, at least then it would have sold tons of units, and it would have been appreciated.

The BIGGEST flaw in the remake is it's lack of redo. The original was based on the only series at the time, hence not an homage but a complete overhaul with similarities. It's more money grab than updating the original design wise. Same ol' "Newer is better" argument without basis of facts. Cartoon physics were more prevalent in the original, these look totally limited. It lacks the same character with a shiny wrapper coating over the whole thing. Just an opinion, but maybe think "Sonic Movie" overhaul instead. Don't forget, older gamers/collectors have most the money.

It's honestly impressive how they literally messed EVERYTHING up in the remake. From the bland dark visuals, the pathetic sound design that sounds like someone slapping a wet seal, to the travesty of the music. Ugh.
