Not too long ago there was a 19 year old Midwestern kid who got put on a sex offender registry because the girl he met on a dating app lied about being 17 when she was actually 14. He's just a kid and they treated him like a 55 year old predator. Any girls who lies about their age to pursue older men should be charged with a serious crime. I know a guy that was a truck driver and was involved into something very similar to this back in 2019. He picked up a female from Florida and drove her all around the country while having “easy access”. One day they got into a huge argument and she called the cops on him while he was asleep. He woke up to 4 cops banging on his door. Turns out that female he picked up was a 14 year old runaway teen. After fighting the case for 3 years and spending $100k on lawyers…he is currently serving a 10 year sentence in TDCJ. The worst part of it is that this same girl went out and pulled that stunt with a few other truck drivers afterwards.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to grow up fast; our young are being kept in a state of extended childhood that is VERY LONG. In most parts of the world, people are considered adults and do adult stuff well before age 18 (third world countries and most of history). I get why you want to grow up fast; you DO have more freedom as an adult to do things you could not legally do as a minor. 26 now. But I believe in following the law.

If he had to take time off work because he got arrested, someone may have replaced him even if nothing happened. If his work is so busy that they have to schedule a date a week later, it means more opportunities to expose her lies. It can be something like asking her how work was through text messaging. If there are contradictions, it would help him spot her lies.

I was the total opposite of Lori when I was 17. When I used to get hit on by older men as a teen, I would tell them my true age. I would never lie about my age. My motto was, and still is, dating older men is for young girls who are just trying to grow up too fast. 😎💯 This story could've had a much darker ending. Henry could've been a monster, and drugged Lori and tried to take advantage of her, or Lori and Henry could've slept together, then Lori would've got mad and revealed her true age, causing Henry to get arrested and lose everything he had.
