The song was released on May 2023 and became a huge hit! Time Magazine added Kylie on their list of the 100 most influential people 2024 because Kylie challenged an ageist music industry with “Padam Padam” that went viral in over 40 countries. The song spends 3 weeks in the UK top 10 and palced well in many countries. Thanks to its success, Kylie won an Aria Award and an MTV Europe Music Award in 2023. In 2024 she won a Grammy for best pop/dance recording, Global Icon award at the Brits, Icon award at the Billboard Women in Music awards. Tension the album (Padam was the first single) was a success and received great reviews with a score of 86 on Metacritic.

unbelievably, I had never heard the song,... I'm Australian. I heard Kylie put a new song out, but never heard this before. I stopped caring about 20 years with Kylie though... Good on her.. but not my thing.

@@PaladinesAngel no ,just don't do commercial TV/radio, and it's not like it's gonna come up on my youtube algorithm. I live in Tamworth, which had a huge music festival since then with tens of thousands of people here for almost two weeks. It's country music though, and not likely to feature anything like Kylie Minogue. The real question is why WOULD I have heard about it? I only follow Chase for ABBA reacts. I don't use Spotify cos they are arseholes, and there's no one in my friends circle who likes this kind of thing.

Chase, if you would have really listened you knew it's not "PAdam, PAdam" as you repeated at the end, but "paDAM, paDAM" as Kylie sings a hundred times throughout the song 😉 It stands for the heartbeat.
