10:56 I’m a person who’s experienced lots of hurt. I’ve had my heart broken, my trust broken, and loyalty lost,I was raised without a father and a mom who worked a lot. She was never home. I kinda grew up alone. I was lonely a lot. The schools I went to had mean kids who all hated me. Boys would try and grape…. me. As I got older my first boyfriend was very abusive. I’d leave him but he’d always find me and he’s put me in the hospital twice. Cops arrested him but he didn’t stay in jail for long. I had to move 3 hours away just to feel safe while living life. But I didn’t let that break me. It made me stronger. I can handle the worst with a calm mind and think clearly. I’m nice to others because I don’t want to make people feel like how I used to feel. I get sad sometimes but I have a good life. I have a roof, clothes, food, a decent job, incredible dogs that love me. I like to think of my positives. Not my negatives. Negativity is weakness.

Yelling at and hitting a child is abuse. Using objects like a belt, stick, clothing hanger, shoe, wooden spoon, fly swatter, extension cord etc. to physically hurt a child is considered abuse. When an adult gets hit with these objects, people say its abuse but when a child gets hit with these objects, people say its okay. NO its NOT okay! Either way its still abuse. Whooping/spanking is still abuse and its ineffective and it traumatizes the child and causes trauma to the childs brain. I've been through this when I was a child, being hit with a belt, clothing a hanger and stick that black parents called a "switch" and its NOT okay. I'm still traumatized from the physical, mental and emotional abuse. STOP normalizing abuse. Especially Black, Hispanic and Asian people, cause they're the main ones normalizing abuse.
