The fan swinging Ralph by the neck wasn't a black and white thing. The fan was telling Ralph that we're going to destroy you tonight. That was done all through sports.

YES...Words Of Wisdom, coming from a young man!! I love it!!❤❤❤ Also to all those don't know.... Larry Bird was outstanding in every aspect of the game!! A man of Honor and a man of Principle.

Great job Tee. OMG I remember that game. I knew Larry was gonna come out smokin' after Ralph punched the smallest guy on the team. His stats were rather pedestrian for Larry, no real biggie....BUT, it was if he had stolen the Rockets' playbook. He was a one-man wrecking crew. No matter what they tried Larry was 2 steps ahead of them. Houston had a great team, Boston had "The Legend"!!!!

I like to tell this story. I’m from Boston, East Boston to be exact. My teens paralleled Larry’s prime. Where I grew up everything was Bruins and hockey. We played street hockey daily. Every once in a while though we’d play something else. And when that something else was basketball I hated it. Why? Because I sucked at basketball. I fouled everyone constantly and inevitably ended the day with a sprained thumb. I’m the milkiest white guy you could know. 5’8” at the time about 180 lbs. I hated basketball. Still do. But I watched the Celtics during that time because Bird was unbelievable. He was so great that he made people like me and some of my friends who hated the game watch because we feared we were gonna miss something. That’s a legend. I’m glad I didn’t miss it.

The important thing is not whether Larry Bird was athletic or not, whether he could jump or not... the important thing is that he DIDN'T NEED HIM to sweep his opponent and be decisive. For me it is top 3. Jordan, Bird, and the third in the long list that fights with Magic, Kobe, etc...

This was definitely Birds best game. All you have to do is watch the game start to finish to see how he was mentally and physically destroying Houston. The players and their coaching staff had no answers to what Bird was doing to them. Here's a great Larry Bird video to react to bro: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5bThnx8aJ16i5o

I was told recently to never talk basketball again only because I compared curry's off ball game to Larry's. And was also told that Larry bird was trash. I love watching curry play! Great reaction and thanks again ❤

I am only a viewer of this channel but thanks for the link. The NBA fell out of favor with me after Jordan retired so being able to relive the greatness of 80's and 90's NBA is always something I look forward to.
