Very helpful video doc! I also have a question… Its about retainers. I’ve had a braces for around 5 years (2017-2022, my teeth were pretty bad..) and since then i wear permanent retainers for 2 years. But before around 4 months while i was eating apple a part of the glue on the upper retainer (behind the front two teeth) broke and since then i always have to comply with them while i eat, also i have discomfort sometimes on my upper gum around this area now which i didnt have before. I also tend to limit biting, so i dont brake the metal plate on this area where the glue fell of and i wanted to ask you will be okay to remove my upper permanent retainer and use removable ones only. Because I think it will be much easier, hopefully the discomfort will went away and i wont be scared to bite with my front teeth again. I went to the orthodontist twice after this happened, she said its okay and did some things to fix the retainer as much as she could but the discomfort is still there. I just want to eat without constantly thinking about them breaking and the discomfort to disappear. I just hope if i use removable ones that the teeth wont shift back
