For March flies pick up a spray can of really cheap hairspray ie black and gold, you spray the March flies while they are flying and they fall to the ground due to the lacquer in the product, it will be a hoot with the kids. Great show guys love every episode

Hi guys Always luv your vids. My friends and I used to go to Teewah and double island point nearly every weekend during the mid to late 70s in our hj45s and camp on the beach at no charge, and I think the barge cost was $8 return. We always and still do take our rubbish home with us as there were no bins on the beach. We would park in the middle of the beach and go fishing for Taylor and dart and have a couple of frothies ( we only drank from cans because you can squish them down and take them home.) with very little traffic if any at all, even on weekends. We started a family in the early '80s so the ute had to go. The late '80s rolled along and we had 3 kids, so we thought we would buy another 4b. We went back to Teewah, Rainbow, Double Island Point, and even Fraiser Island and found it had changed so much. Hooligans. Rubbish everywhere. The kids nearly got run over by speedsters. So we started going to Morton Island and it was like the mid-70s. Not any more!!! We are Grandparents now so we use the 4b to tow the boat and it is getting harder to get away from the Wankers, now they are buying boats and Jetskis. Sorry for the Vent

Yes! Thank you for cleaning up all that rubbish and teaching your kids to do so too! We were raised the same way by our Dad and as kids we thought it unfair to clean up everyone else’s garbage, but to this day, we still hate littering and do our best to leave places cleaner than when we arrive. Love your videos and family. Wish we could go there someday! 😊

Cool camping up at my local, LOVE the place. Wish i knew u were here would have popped in to say hi. Absolutely stunning place best time when no ones around (week days) Sad thing is unfortunately over the years it gets hammered over the weekend by piss heads that go up to just party untill ya drop..i have come across needles in the sand and will find squashed cans in firepits that havent been cleared out. Glass from smashed bottles in the sand it can be bloody shit at times..Back in the day we use to dig pits but always carry Portable shitters as the dumping facilities are at freshwater so the place can stay prestine..Would love the council to ban crapping in the dunes and digging holes etc. ANY way rant over!! LOVE ya got to visit my hood and keep the magic work!! DI is the place to hang out during the day for sure especially when the wind is howling in at camp site🖒🖒🖒🖒

Also explain the best time to drive on any beach, eg at low tide and drop tyre pressures all round. Ps look out for rbt for the beach is a public road, police will love you.

New subscriber but totally addicted. Planning extended family roadtrip next year so we are picking up lots of hot tips from your videos. We have two young boys so I love seeing the adventures your kids have. Have to ask if your happy with your screens in the van. No sandflies??

@@TripInAVan I noticed in the willow rv you have the screen that has a folded look. I thoight the holes in that looked bigger than other styles so just wondering if you would use that in the new van. We are in the process of designing our first van so I am putting together a must have list.

Loved going back and watching this oldie, the kids look so little! Came across this vid because Teewah is the next stop on our lap, and heading there in the next few days. We’ll be camping in our van. Any tips on where we can fill up our tanks? Sick shirt BTW! 😉 🦐

Hey mate I've noticed you don't use your stabilisers on your van, is that just a luxury of a larger van with good suspension? I've got a single axle Jayco expanda outback and if I didn't have mine down it would be a nightmare. Videos are awesome, can't wait to see the new rig and van.

Brendo Cornell yeah mate I reckon the independent suspension makes it heaps more stable. We only put em down if we setup for long stints

Notice you don't have stone cover over you caravan front window. Any issues with this? Like the thought of having the front window open and clear to the sky and which you don't get with a stone cover over the window.

Did the BT50 need chassis upgrade to support weight of the canopy and trailer? and was the engine tuned at all, from the vids it seems to tow quite well
