Thank you for providing the platforms seltene and thank you that you guys have come to discuss. I have a comment/question to three of you . Seltene I have watched many videos of you “interviewing” people. Seltene you should avoid taking side with anyone. This is discussion between the two people you present NOT YOU. You as person could have opinion, however the role you are in does not allow you to present your opinion or you taking sides. You can ask for clarification and state what other people say but you should not assume or make comments when the people you’re interviewing say something your don’t agree. Hope you change that in your future videos. Other than that you’re doing good. Abdela I like your ideas of unity and agree on many things you have talk about. But I do not agree with the bad assumption you’re having in your head how the Christian or tigrigna people are destroying the other ethnicity. Having that assumption will just make the Eritrean people not united but to separate. One of the fact you state was about the Tigre people that were denied to return to Eritrea in 1991. I agree that there were many people in Sudan but they are not just all Muslims, I have many relatives that are Christian that are in Sudan since before 1991. My question is can you sent me a link of articles that state that there are 2.5 million Eritrean people in Sudan in 1991. I think that number is huge and I did my research and in my research it states the refugees that were in Sudan in 1992 were half million. Second I know stories of many Eritrean that were in Sudan refugees and that have come back to Eritrea an example could be the very well known Eritrean singer Ghirmay Andom. He and his family have moved to Eritrea. If they could be moved back then why weren’t other refugees couldn’t move back. If you have evidence that the Eritrean government denied or didn’t corroborated for them to return I would want to know as well. Other than that I like your well discussion in this video. Yosef. Like your energy. I like your idea of how every ethnic group in Eritrea have to know their identity and they should be proud. But can your convince me, how the 9 different ethics groups might not create divisions in between them is the process of knowing and being proud of the identity. Especially, our people all of them are not well educated and how will they be well proud of their identity and then work together to build a country. Don’t you think, it’s just easier to United the Eritrean people now first and then once we believe that we all are Eritrean then side by side everyone could also be proud of what culture they have or come from.

Despite the fact that the majority of the Eritrean people clearly wanted complete independence. Documentary evidence, recently declassified under the US Freedom of Information Act, attests to this fact. "British administration estimated privately for British Embassy Addis that independence bloc commands 75 percent of Eritrea as of August 10." --John Foster Dulles, US Secretary of State. "From the standpoint of strategic and logistical considerations it would be of value to the US to have refineries, capable of supplying a substantial portion of our aviation needs, located close to a crude supply and also close to areas where naval task forces would be operating and where air fields would be located, yet far enough removed to be reasonably safe from effective enemy bombing. "From the point of view of justice, the opinion of the Eritrean people must receive consideration.
