I like all your albums, but Sainthood is definitely my favourite, and this song gives me real Sainthood vibes (and I agree with the comparisons to Northshore)! What I absolutely love about you two and your music is that you never make the same song - you change things up and keep it fresh - but you also don't chase trends. Everything just always feels so authentic - like, I always feel like this is exactly what you two WANTED to be making. Sometimes I connect with it so very much (like this, Sainthood, The Con), and sometimes much less (Heartthrob), but no matter what, it still feels authentic.

I only said Trees because even T & S refuse to play it because they said it was embarrassing. They were young’ins then, so it only makes sense. I was fortunate to have discovered them right after their release of If It Was You, so I got to grow up with all their quirky albums.
