The reason I love T&S so much is that they are great songwriters and artists and have a great sense of humor to go along with it. In this clip they show how serious they are also which I admire. I think they are so intelligent also and the way they come up with great songs well.....I just hope they keep doing it the same way. I love them! :)

They are role model's for me. I was raised in a family that hates gays. And for the time being, I still have to stay with them and I rely on them for many different things. I've come out to my mom, but she chooses to be in denial. And due to school and other obligations that I need their assistance on, I can't fully come out. Which hurts. They reiterate that feeling that even if your family can't love you for who you are, there are others that do.

I definitely agree with them. Even if they sang their songs with the feminine pronouns in it I'd still love them. I'm a straight chick and I don't think their songs are weird because they're about women. To me, love is love and it doesn't matter who the song is about. We all experience similar emotions and situations in romantic relationships and if a song is about a gay relationship, it's still about love and we can all still relate to its message or theme.

@stifledbabsie absolutely. im straight but i absolutely luv tegan&sara, their music is super groovy. n i dont like obscene music but i love how a lot of rock is good at keepin it real while not being obscene. and tegan and sara are amazing with that. but in the end, yeah, its just music and i love the melodies and beats. and same with brandi carlile, she's a lesbian and she dOes sing about girls in a couple of her songs, but i still absolutely love the songs cause its just amazing music!

@GrimW1991 Homophobia and sexism all rolled up in one comment. Well done! I just love how you stereotyped all women as "materialistic bitches". Newsflash- Theses "bitches" your "stuck with" are complex human beings. All women are different and complicated. And they don't just exist for your happiness! And somehow, being gay women, they're separate from the rest of society? They ARE role models for so many women. You're making a hell of a lot of assumptions about women and lesbians.

side point. I find it weird how they call themselves queer. Yes they are right (no doubt) but due to the area i live, since we don't discriminate (because we're young and we think its just stupid to do so) we use words like gay or queer to say something is like sad or uncool. Just seemed really strange
