The music video features the twins in adjoining rooms, singing as they stick their heads through large cut-outs of family photographs, which include shots of their mom and aunt. "We'd talked about projecting an image of yourself that wasn't necessarily accurate, or embellishing parts of yourself in order to attract somebody who is maybe looking for something different than your true self," Sara explained to rolling stone Sara ended up wearing the monster suit as Tegan was physically unable to pull it off. "I was supposed to wear it but we changed it because I'm actually quite claustrophobic, and when they brought the costume in I was like, no!" Tegan admitted to Rolling Stone. Said before, both women are beautiful. Its their jaw line and expressions that do it. The vocals are somewhat unusual but I think it could definitely grow on me but right now its just coming out as different. They lyrics themselves are great. Cheers!

If you look at the way they fall at the end, when the rope breaks, its so reflective of their personalities. Tegan is all dramatic and falls over onto the floor. Sara falls back somewhat gracefully and lands sitting on the bed.

Why is it on almost every Tegan and Sara video the top comments are responses to homophobia and childish, misdirected hatred? These people search these videos and try to get a rise out of everyone who enjoys the magic this super duo has created because they're desperate for attention. Don't acknowledge them. Their opinion bears no meaning nor importance to anyone or anything, so don't make them think otherwise, just enjoy the music and be grateful!

+Jade Wright Tegan (blue pants) has a labret piercing, though she doesn't have the jewelry on in this video, it seems.

Jade Wright yes tegan had one under her mouth which she doesn't wear in this video (which made it difficult for me to differentiate them here when I was a baby tns fan). Tegan has worn the piercing at least since they started music (1998ish) but took it out last year due to her dentist saying it was messing up her teeth.

THis had been bugging me like half my existance now.. but i THINK I FINALLY UNDERSTAND THE VIDEO!! ... just a guess lol i think its about Tegan and Sara describing working with each other, and how it can be Hell to do what they do and work with each other sometimes ... idk just a guess..the contrasting themes, maybe some malevolent force/being sometimes pitting them against each other, like they're both just trying to be calm, but that umm aphostery thing, constantly tries to pit them against each other in a tug-of-war,, the constant back n forth shots of them like their face to face,, "when we get up and over it and over them" .. the biz, the people, the instagators, and what not.. like towardds the end it shows them each walk in, But in reverse... like the entire video was a whole "we could be calm each on our own" but instead it cuts all of that and they instantly tug-of-war as they walk in each room... instead of folding oragami or resisting that carpet creature thing lol but hey like i said.. just a guess.. its the only thing thats popped in my head that can somewhat describe whats happening here after so many years. You know what i love about these to girls? All artist sing about it break ups and love and shit like that!
