The early 90s rave scene was a very special time, there was a lot of love in that scene. Back then you had to call a pager number on the day of the even to get directions to the venue. I still have a bunch of those old rave flyers, I wish I had saved more.

PLUR at its peak. I remember my first rave tripping on a triple stack red transformer. I couldnt stop hugging my friend/strangers smiling from ear to ear the entire team. My jaw was so sore the next day i couldnt eat

Ah, fellow Canadians! This resonates so much with my youth. It was aggravating my best friends had those curfews. I didn't have those limitations... But that "zombies under daylight" thing was always a hazard, especially that one time where we got six feet of snow during the rave and I was stranded with them.

First (and only) time I did acid was at the World Electronic Music Festival, a 3 day outdoor rave in 1999, Sauble Beach, Ontario. I think I got maybe an hour of sleep over a 72 hour period.

Any event hosting Tiesto post Forbidden Paradise mixes in the 90s is not an authentic or real rave...definitely not in 2010...Tiesto was pretty much the world's most famous and mainstream DJ by the time adagio for strings came out in 2005...

Leftover serotonin still pumping through their blood. Lol if I've rolled the night before... there are, "morning afters" where I'm not hungover or still coming down... I still feel the love and either soak it all in or tell someone how much I appreciate them. Lol you can't plan for it... it just happens. And often times its just as euphoric as the night before. I've had pleasant mornings. Still on one!... but clear headed.
