I was an officer at CCI for nearly 20yrs. I knew Tiny Contreras in DH-4. Used to talk to him all the time before he transfered out. He had some old A number named Dacey, out of HU-2 or 1, who was a major pruno maker, writing his memoirs.

Callen said it. You probably don’t hear often enough Dubbes. The fact that you’re here, on the side of the wall, with the mentality you have in your ability to positively change the world around you nothing short of a miracle. In my mind, you are a key to us figuring out criminal justice reform. The problem is the people in power would rather work on bill reform and crime prevention. We really should be thinking about how we treat people when they fall.

It was 270 design. I was there in '98. Tellehachapi referred to the 1 an 2 yards. Back in the '70s Tiny from Pacas ( Deceased ) Picked up the first muerte there. '72. The 3 I don't know. We go to North Kern for reception from Riverside county. An I believe Wasco. Chino Central is supposed to stop accepting New arrivals. It's a grimy place. Wouldn't be a good Program yard.

There are 2 types of level 4 prisons in California: 180 design & 270 design. 180s are the highest level. A 270, if you walk in is set up like this: l_l. Each line indicates a section. There are no walls seperating each section. In a 180 design prison, there is a wall separating each section, more secure basically. Each section is its own enclosed area basically. Don’t know if you can visualize it…

1986😂 🤦🏽‍♂️In 1933 California’s first women’s prison was established in Tehachapi to provide an environment more conductive to rehabilitation than San Quentin State Prison. Two-story buildings were constructed of reinforced concrete in the French Normandy style, with three residential “cottages” for inmates. Two of the cottages were complete living units, each with its own kitchen, dining room, living room, bathrooms and supervisor’s quarters. A larger cottage had one complete segregated living unit on its lower floor for black women. The upper floor became a housing unit for older women.

4 A or 4 B in tehachapi has always been the shu ..in that institution I'm a J 65661..#. At the end of 94 tehachapi 4A yard was the shu then ..I was on the lower half of 4B building 1 B section cell 22 L..yard was locked down white and the blacks got off over the weight pile..that's when they took the weights off the yards because man lost his life over the maylay..at that time the 9mm riffle shooting rubber bullets was all they had then

My mom lived in tehachapi in yhe 80"s. Mu grandma was in a relationship with a guy who was a guard there. He was fresh out the CDC academy. From what my mom tells me he was a real piece 🧩 of shit.

Tehachipi much older than that, no? Perhaps it was rebuilt at some point. Ex inmate family friend told me about it in 1968. Said it was his favorite cause the view. R.I.P. Charlie McB.

If you go thru my old videos you will find a couple. To me, the most interesting person in our indigenous history is Tlacaelel. He was known as the King Maker. And I believe he was the first Cihuacoatl.
