Tehillim Talks - Psalm 41

Thank you Grant for yet another beautiful study of the Psalm 41.🙏🏻 I love the question that you threw out there : the difference between to return my soul and to heal my soul. I was thinking and thinking about it ,and I asked the Lord.....what do you mean by this...? I may be wrong , but this is the conclusion of my analysis of it: to return my soul is to return it, to put it back to its original form-to restore it back how it was intended by the Lord in a first place. To heal a soul , is to make it fully functional again. Let me explain..If you broke a leg , you need to put the broken bone back to its original place in order to heal properly . The healing can only begin once we have our mind set returned to its original form -God wants our minds to be stable , not divided, because our soul represents our intellect -the way we think .If we do not understand the truth and what it means , it can never set us free , we are never truly healed. Shalom .

Shabbat shalom Grant. I don’t understand your reference to the connection between the sections of the Psalms ending in Amein and Amein, and the books of Torah. How are they connected?

I'm not sure that there is actually a connection, but traditionally the five "books" of Psalms have been called after the names of the books of Torah. Some Bibles simply entitle the sections "Book 1", "Book 2", etc. Someone has probably written a book establishing connections between the books of Torah and the books of Psalms, but in the meantime, here is an interesting article from Apologia that discusses some of the connections: www.apologia.com/blog/psalms-devotional/#:~:text=The%20Psalms%20are%20traditionally%20divided,Leviticus%2C%20Numbers%2C%20and%20Deuteronomy.
