I remember playing Teignnouth GC year’s ago. Seem to recall that there had been a hole-in-one on a par-5! Allegedly the ball had hit the dogleg, turned downhill and run past three groups of players and into the hole! The club asked the R+A what to call it, and the answer was “CONDOR”

It's when the two players in a team fit together, if one plays a hole poorly but the other plays it well to keep pressure on the opponents. Comes from the dovetail joint, used in carpentry to snugly fit two pieces of wood together.
