Teil-Q Center of Gravity Tool - How to build and use

In this video I will show you how to build and use the Center of Gravity Tool from Teil-Q. This CG Tool is a perfect helper for properly balancing your RC plane.
The version shown in my video is the "M plus" which is suitable for models up to 25kg.

Thanks! The sanding was really the hardest part. Without my Perma Grit it would have been a nightmare as the material is so tough.

Thia looks like a fantastic device but , can you explain one thing? You made a comment the the plane is balanced when the bottom of the "T" is aligned with the slot. This doesn't sound right as it wouldn't account for different wing profiles.???

Hi, I am not sure to have a good explanation but I would expect the potential error due to the shape of the different airfoils to be quite negligible. This could only be a few degrees I guess and could result in something significantly less than 1 mm of inaccuracy. Maybe someone has a more scientific explanation. In any case the CG will only be a first setting which has to be fine tuned in flight.

An example video with a heavier plane would be nice. With a real model it will not cog in the middle. And will fall in Front.

It just works the same for heavier models. But the CG needs to be spot on. I did it as well for my Robbe Amplitude or Aeronaut Triple Neo. I know, both are not the heaviest gliders on earth, but I think it proves that it works. As soon as I find the time I will post a video on my Instagram account.

The manufacturer seems to be running an ebay shop under his name that ships to the US, however P&P has to be enquired individually. I'm pretty sure, though, they can easyly undercut Höllein's 70 EUR.
