Still loving this in 2018..as a female vocalist who no longer really listens to much tejano anymore..i focus alot on Gospel music now but I have to say Joe is one of my all time favorite Tejano male vocalist, 20yrs ago I was performing Tejano music at 14yrs old and never got to meet him, never to late...Lost momma 1-10-18 to pancreatic cancer and we loved to listen to Joe it never gets old...thank you Joe for the great music, riparadise mommy..besos and God Bless April E

Thank you for the kind words, Yes I do sing Gospel now in San Antonio Texas. My Tejano cd mass production was recorded with Ram Herrera's Outlaw band and produced by Dimas Garcia when I was 14yrs old 1998. I decided to get an education in music and now work in Education. I left the business just because I saw alot that I didnt want to be apart of. Thank you Jesus, he has been able to keep me safe from the dangers of the business. Momma wanted me to record christian music. Wouldn't it be nice to have music like Joe with the Sax singing words for the lord? I promised momma i would try to push my musical talent in that direction. Although I stick more to the Gospel, I really appreciate artists like Joe and Jay Perez, my favorite male voices of Tejano. Crazy how I never really got to work with them being around the business at the time. I am now 37 and still appreciate this style of Tejano. I would definitely work with someone like Joe or Jay anyday to create christian based music...God Bless April E

Joe Posada is my favorite, it used to be Mazz, but I saw him play that saxophone and sing at the same time I was complete sold, hook line and sinker, still got to give Mazz props for originality
