The words of wisdom from your mom are like that of my late grandma. Keep the faith. Blessing to you and the band in recovering. I used to play the alto sax for years so I know music is the heart and soul to healing as well. God bless.

I for ONE Feel You Brotha, I had same incident approx.20 yrs ago (Stolen Instruments) we had No Insurance at the time, there was NO 'Go fund Me app" in those days-so we practically lost everything-Band Broke Up, had to cancel all future Gigs, we all lost interest in pursuing the Dream , we couldn,t figure out who to point the Finger at-so we left it alone,Till this date the Cops/investigators have never found ,or were even Concerned to Find our Equipment, some People just DON,T seem to understand "The Loss of a Dream", amongst other matters ! All the famous bands that come to tour in FL, rent their audio. Siggno is the only one I know that takes their own. They should just let the promoter set up the audio and lights.

Jesse, the word you were looking for was dignity. Pride is a force that can't be lowered or altered. He said it with his own breath. The advice his mom gave him is the road he needs to follow. Chasing his own ambitions at someone's else's expense sounds like a bail-out. My dad was from Robstown, tx. He was a cotton picker, and a sense of pride/ respect followed him and the music he played.
