As far as I know when she was the Governor of Jharkhand BJP government passed land amendment bill in the assembly which was against the local people Jharkhand although she was appointed by BJP she returned the bill later it didn't get passed. This shows she has strong character she always for justice. Perfect choice for President of India just as Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam sir, she might not be a scientist just like him but honesty, kindness, humility, simplicity and truth is replica of Kalam sir. She has been Minister and Governor but she doesn't have wealth that shows she loves simple living high thinking.

In fact I remember back in 2015 there was one film reporter from DD News ( I don’t want to name her), reporting the Goa Film Festival, she messed up her fluency & even made blunders in information (calling the Chief Guest Prime Minister of Goa) & was brutally trolled online. So yeah the standard of DD has come down but reporters like this interviewer & Late Neelum Sharma who also hosted this Tejaswini show are good
