really is a song so fantastic, a ocean of emotions, even for this series, that in turn is more than a classic, is something beyond imagination, Masami demostrated with this why perhaps is one of the singers in Japan and the entire planet, about the Tekkaman Blade franchise, deserve a triumphal return someday still many loose ends, is unjust, but listening this give hopes for see more this extraordinary anime in the future, !D-BOY, AKI AND YUMI FOREVER¡.

To this day, I've still never seen the original Tekkaman, but I remember seeing this TB2 on TV back in the days before anime was common on TV in the U.S. I can't even remember the channel (it wasn't Sci-Fi, and it was before Cartoon Network had anime). After that, I bought the DVDs. It's still a kind of weird concept to me. I never got the impression that it was ever big, but I still liked it. I must have listened to this song hundreds of times by now. One of my favorite anime songs.

It's not hard to find, plenty of sites hosting anime you can watch it on. I actually went through it all again a year or so ago. It's a decent enough anime, and gives much needed context. It's called Technoman in the west.

Bruhhhh I've been searching for this anime for years. And the only lead I had was the sound of this song. This brings back my childhood

The ending theme stuck . I was no more than 6 or 7 at the time. I was humming it in my head and i said the tune and remembered reading the sde of the vhs and it said TEKKAMAN (then i said that to a person in high school and they told me which lead me to the track then the anime. I remembe rthe dub but i had no idea what bad was it was just cool to seethe fighting and an animation style i never saw before

DivinityAngel It was a great series. I liked it a lot. However, despite a few scant appearances in gaming (Super Robot Wars and TatsunokoxCapcom), Tekkaman Blade or even the original rarely got a lot of attention.
Wish they would bring Tekkaman back, loved the concept but the sequel was just a mess compared to the incredibly gritty and serious original

I would have enjoyed this show much more if David was never a part of it. He was the single most annoying character of ANY anime I have ever watched.

I didn't like the dubb choices for TB2.They should've stuck with Barbara Goodson as Star,David A.Thomas Jr. as Blade, Richard Epcar as Mac, Kerrigan Mahan as Ringo EP.5,and Julie Maddalena as Tina EP.5
@freetowhat8 жыл бұрын
I'm totally with you on that!! It's odd that they dubbed TB2 before a dub (Teknoman) existed for Tekkaman Blade but oh well. Their loss. Bad directing for the voice actors in TB2 dub. I'm so glad we had David, Barbara, and Kerrigan as Blade, Star, and Ringo in the International version. The US dub actors for Blade and Ringo are talented but didn't suit their characters. Still my favourite series, ever. TB, at least...I tolerate TB2 because Aki gets to kick @$$! I tell myself that it's OAV and if they ever made a proper sequel that these six episodes would be non-canonical. Would've loved to have seen if they went down the Missing Ling path.

@@freetowhat After seeing Tekkaman Blade and Teknoman without a doubt the English version had so much more identity to it. One thing that I found very lackluster in this dub of Tekkaman Blade II is the fact that part of the charm of the Teknoman dub was the changes and it really does show it was for the best here. Star calling Blade "D-Boy" in English went down like a fart in an elevator. It just was never going to work. So glad they dropped that in the original series. Hearing things like Tekkaman and Radam in English I don't think really fly here. If we did have our original cast doing this I think it'd find it a bit easier using phrases like Venomoids and Teknomen again. Maybe it's just a me thing but we lose a lot of that charm and identity by not using them. To me it's ultimate example of a Dub doing more than the original itself.
