Tekken 4 intro holds a special place in my heart. You know Kazuya is a bad guy and yet that intro had me rooting for him so hard, taking those shades off and walking into the building messing all those guards up narrating, and then knocking the camera out. Best scene forever. Also, Jin/Ling Xiaoyu unrequited love story story line was perfect.

I know these are the home versions, but I don't like how they added Steve Fox and Christie in the Tekken 4 intro. In the arcade, it was just Heihachi and the return of Kazuya. I worked at a Namco arcade about the time it came out *2001?!?!* and damn, that game made so much money. These intros are why I always considered Tekken a quadrilogy! Just the sheer steps forward from Tekken 1all the way to Tekken 4. The reverence for Tekken 5 forward sorta gives me the general age range of this comment section and makes me feel super old. Lol. Because I vividly remember playing the first 3 Tekken games upon release in both the arcade and home console, and how hyped (and subsequently flaborgasted) I was to play Tekken 4 on PS2 when it first released. Man I loved this series. Can't to see what Tekken 8 has in store since I haven't played a "mainline" Tekken game since Tekken 5 (which I did NOT enjoy) and a Tekken game in general since Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Tekken 3 intro is my favorite intro to Tekken since my childhood when I was 8 years old it's what got me into playing it in the first place. I still have a list of Tekken games since I was 8-19 years old. The Tekken games I have are; Tekken 3, tag, 4, 5, 6, tag 2 tournament, and 7. Looking back at these intros brings me back memories, too bad Tekken 7 was the last time for it, and R.I.P. to the guy who played Heihachi Mishima who brought so much hype and badass intros to Tekken. Man Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 had the BEST music!! Tekken 2, 3, 4, and 5 had the most epic intros by far. 6 and 7 were pretty good, but not quite the same feeling as the older games. Tekkie 1 is understandably not the greatest since it was the first of its kind, but Tekken 6 and 7 should've been a bit more intense. Less talking, more crazy good hardcore metal music.

My opinions on TEKKEN intros : Tekken 1 and 2 : quite okay on the graphics and such. Tekken 3 and TTT1 : the start of a new era. getting better. Tekken 4 : Not Bad Tekken 5 :arguably the Best intro of all Tekken series Tekken 6 and TTT2 : Decent. quite good Tekken 7 : What is that??

Tekken 5 intro promoted the combat energy, the music had different modes, starting chill and featuring the peaceful fighters, then it starts getting loud featuring angry fighters, different energies and feelings. The other intros lacked at least one of those factors.
