TEKKEN 3 Bryan Fury real arcade gameplay Namco System 12 HD 60 FPS

Real arcade hardware recorded on the Elgato Camlink 4K using the OSSC( Not emulated)
This is not the PlayStation or the Tekken 5 arcade history collection/emulation. I’m using actual arcade hardware.

I love how the music is dynamic in this Arcade version of Tekken 3 in comparison to the home version. Each stage theme is split into three sections, A, B and C with transitions in between. Obviously, Section A starts at the 1st round. After there's a transition into the next section at the start of the next round. I wish Bandai Namco would try adding transitions again for Tekken 8, however it's wishful thinking at best.

Seeing how much more detailed the stages in this version are compared to the PSX version makes me realize that home console owners kinda got gyped.

I wonder why the barrels are not present in the ps1 ver

Because the PSX was under powered they had to cut polygons and reduce the graphics to port it over to the PSX.

@@MrJames-eb6rp It's crazy that after 20 years, I now only discovered the arcade version was graphically superior compared to the PSX. The background in the stages look goddamm beautiful

Yeah I didn't notice either until 2011 when I was running Tekken 3/Tag 1 on the MAME arcade emulator. Apart from the backgrounds the characters have more animations, When you hit a character they would show an expression by opening their mouth in pain. Their hands/fingers would move more, The PSX version just had them blink their eyes and move their hands a bit only.

The audio is also better on the arcade version. The PlayStation port has some muffled sound while the arcade version is a bit more clear sounding. It’s all because of the different bitrate and sound hardware on both the arcade and console.

But the PSX has arranged tracks which some tracks sound way better, Like Eddy's theme.

Download an emulator on your phone. You should be able to play it.

I’m using real arcade hardware, not emulation but this game should be easy to emulate on a good PC or phone.
