Me (GSTAR321) doing a live commentary and playthrough of Tekken 5 : Dark Resurrection. I play as Armor King II.
Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is an upgrade to Tekken 5 and includes three new characters: Lili, Sergei Dragunov and Armor King II. It also includes new stages and music.
Tekken 5 : Dark Resurrection is available on the PSP and PS3 (via the PSN). The PSP version has more content, including Story Battle and some bonus modes of play such as 'Tekken Bowl' - which makes it's return from Tekken Tag Tournament.
The PS3 version however looks much better graphically and has some of it's own unique content not available in the PSP version; the ability to unlock and play as Jinpachi and the ability to unlock and play on the original Tekken 5 stages.
Tekken 5 : Dark Resurrection is a welcome upgrade. It features tight, fast-paced combat that feels and looks great!

Dark Resurrection also balances some characters' moves (for example Bryan's b+1, in Tekken 5 that move launches the opponent on normal hit, that was fixed as well). The characters got some new moves as well.

Good to see another video from you! I actually like the non-frequent upload. Makes everything more interesting. I remember playing this game by myself a lot on my PSP. My favorite character to use was actually Roger Jr. I remember that he had a lot of flashy moves and combos, plus the throwing moves like King/Armor King. A fun character to play as. I have a question regarding the Mortal Kombat X: Now that they fixed the netcode problems, are you interested in checking out the online multiplayer? Because I remember that you said that the connection was really bad in Australia, so I´m wondering if the new netcode managed to fix that problem?

Tekken 5 DR Online was the first fighting game I got for my ps3. Once I picked it up I loved it. The online was fun and competitive. T5DR Is definitely a classic!

From the looks of the PS3 version, I find the PSP version unarguably the better one I do like to play Jinpachi as well as the original Tekken 5 stages, those are just basically it. Considering you have a lot more to do in the PSP version like the special games, Tekken Dojo (if I remember right), & etc. I remember playing Tekken 5:DR a lot in the PSP, if I were to play the PS3 version, I'd find myself playing it less than the PSP version. Sure there's also graphics, but why should I care too much of the graphics, the one in PSP is good enough

Actually about Armour King, I'd just thought to mention that There were two Armour Kings which both fought opponents in turns, as revealed in their Tekken 6 ending; so in my opinion it's right to call him both Armour King and AK2 as there is no telling if in the Tekken 1 and 2 games if you only just played as the DEAD Armour King or the other Armour King. And according to the Tekken wiki the whole point of the numbering system was to separate the characters to avoid confusion. Which was also done for the King character.

You could play as Armor King II on the PSP too, it's just a skin, you just need to press Square when selecting any character :P I might get another (already had 4 ) PSP JUST to play Tekken DR, Street Fighter Turbo, Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur. Miss these amazing fighting games :(
