Zachery Oberg Well Basically it comes down to this... Heihachi tried to kill both. Hell He tried to kill his son TWICE! Basically Kazuya hates Heihachi because he threw him down a mountain as a kid. So he sold his soul to the Devil or the power to kill him. THEN Heihachi threw him into a volcano at the end of Tekken 2. Jin hates Heihachi because he tried to kill him at the end of Tekken 3 due to having Kazuya's Devil Power dormant inside him. All he did was awaken it unfortunately. Jin hates his dad because he's an unrepentantly evil bastard who is trying to turn the planet into a living hell of never ending warfare for profit and personal gain... aaand he tried to kill him to regain the portion of the the devil's power he lost to Jin when he conceived Jin with his mother Jun. Luckily he also has the Angel Gene inside him to balance out and help him fight/counter the effects of the devil Gene thanks to her.
